in last night's game against the Panthers...

Not only does he take the goalie out, he takes one for the team as a shot deflects off his leg and trickles behind Clemmensen who's underneath Orr. If this isn't on the highlight package at the end of the season, there's something terribly wrong.

The kicker is that the replay is sponsored by Lasik MD Vision (something I believe the referee could use).

Where to start? First of all, this puts Orr on pace for 20 goals. Is this the defining moment in his career as a power forward? Perhaps all the hard work and practice is finally paying off and this diamond in the rough will soon blossom into the next Rick Tocchet. I've also noticed this puts him at $500K per goal, which jettisons him up into Kovalev's status. If that's too much for you to wrap your head around, let me put it this way; Colton Orr gets paid $12,195 per game, or if you factor in ice time + time in the penalty box, almost $2000 per minute. What a superstar!

On a side note, no one show this video to Tomas Holmstrom. He would probably go on a killing rampage, because if it was him that "scored" that "goal", Bettman would have personally flown him back to Sweden after taking turns skullfucking him with Colin Campbell.

Holmstrom once had a goal waived off and was assessed a goaltender interference penalty while sitting in the press box as a healthy scratch. Orr friggin mounted Clemmy like a ten point buck.

Possibly the most obvious case of goalie interference I've ever seen (on a goal). I mean, normally they'd call that even if a defender cross-checked you into the goalie, but nobody even touched Orr!

I defend the refs a lot, but I have no clue what they possibly could have seen on that play.

from TSN

The only explanation he was given from Walkom about the non-call was that he thought he was outside of the crease.

Does that even matter? If a goalie is touched behind the net it's a goalie interference call.

Now it's starting to make some sense on what happened.

If you freeze the play, and zoom in on the ref that missed the call, you clearly can see why from this image:

That's was like, referee-bet-on-the-game bad. And Kessel scored later in the game. I really, really, really hate bringing this up, but Phil now has 7 goals in 8 games. One behind Stammer in the goal department.
