The fact that you can try and justify the atrocities by saying well they werent the first ones here, and they werent a sovereign nation is crap and you know it. The people who stole this nation did so because they felt they were racially superior to those they killed, raped and enslaved on the way to becoming this great nation. And I find it funny that the only types of people saying we need to forget the past are those who as a race benefited from that past they want us to forget.

Zimmerman was a part of neighborhood watch and has the right to report suspicious behavior. There were a lot of break ins and Trayvon fit the very nondescriptive description of being black. Zimmerman did not confront Trayvon from any reports...it was reported that Trayvon confronted Zimmerman.

As for 911, Al Qaida still exists. The Saudis may have been involved...I would love to see those redacted pages.

According to abolitionist, Frederick Douglas, the Constitution should get credit for freeing the slaves. Slavery was abolished on the backs of white people. If you are going to blame white people for slavery, even though it existed long before white people had any power, you have to credit white people for ending slavery. Also, can you name a country that had a shorter period of time allowing slavery? We can even pretend the US had slavery for 245 years if you like.

Finally a decent question. When did Trayvon have the right to defend himself? Well considering The only damage done to Trayvon was the bullets, I would conclude Zimmerman didn't start the physical altercation. Like I said, if Trayvon was worried, he could have easily made it home because Zimmerman would not have been able to run him down. We know Trayvon was trash...countless suspensions, dealing, theft, and was likely headed home to get high that night. The evidence leads us to believe Zimmerman was justified in his actions. End of story.

The Middle East has always been violent. Throughout all of history. I am fine with letting the Middle East kill each other...except for Israel. Why can't they leave Israel alone? I think it is rather naive to think the Middle East violence and hatred of western ideals was only realized because of our actions. We could play this game all day. Had Michael Brown been white the president and half the nation wouldn't have come to his defense, wrongly I might add.
