There's a good chance that this past off-season of no one being interested in him may have humbled him a bit. I'm hoping he follows BMarsh's lead, and saves his career. Although, I don't want to see this getting in the way of Marquess's development either when he comes back.

Yeah, I wasn't including Marcellus though. I think he's just an average tight end in the passing game.

Tough to compare the two if you ask me. Olsen is a beast though, and had a good relationship with Cutler. I think was the leading receiver for us one year, or close. If Bennett does what he did last year, I would rather have him there though.

He was our best pass catcher on a team of shitty receivers. I liked the kid, but he frustrated me..seemed to play smaller than he was? I dunno...he seems to be better off in Carolina.

Great hands, and was a superstar in practice, but aside from the one playoff game against Seattle, he never dominated like i thought he would?

Maybe its just me?

I like bringing him into camp, wish they had done it a few weeks ago when Wilson was injured, he would be two weeks a head of the schedule in Trestman's Offense.


Lets see what he has got left. He once was REAL good. I also believe, if he messes up once or doesn't pan out, he's gone, no question about it.

I think he's a much better blocker than Olsen. Olsen sucked at blocking. Olsen is also softer than charmin. I didn't mind seeing him go. Anyway, I think Bennett is above average, but nothing special.

That made him expendable under Martz. TEs are the lowest priority as a pass catching option. They are required to block in Martz's offense. Olsen couldnt do that, and was why he was traded.
