Much the way your flippant disregard for the fact that despite your deepest wishes otherwise, WMB and Doubront don't suck.. that's really why the conversation is what it is... Your evaluations of the red sox "bag of piss" is much further from reality than the notion of getting Cliff Lee for them..
Everybody but Rock Pickles and World is now on my ignore
except for that little unimportant detail that nobody suggested WMB and Doubrount would be nearly enough to get it done
but dont let unimportant details get in the way of you making fun of down for something he never said
I'm trying to figure out where Felix Doubront is good. I cant find anything, I'll be back. Got to dig further than an ERA+ of 89.
same guy counts Aroldis as a starting pitcher.
True story.
Hey Rock, I've decided to return from another one of my 4-6 month absences, I couldn't possibly just post in the existing thread, so could you announce to everybody that I've returned? I don't care about this place or anybody in it, but could you please? Please?
i just got to the end of this to catch up...what did i miss?
whos wining todays sword fight?

Snuggy, let's go back to arguing - that love fest we had last week left me feeling dirty.
If the Yankees had a prospect that had one great month and then an injury plagued, major drop off in the second half of a year plus 1/3 of a season hitting at or near .200 and displaying C+ defense, the going back on the DL, what would your evaluation be of said player?
I am not burying WMB yet....but can we agree that the vultures are hovering?
For every Mike Trout, there are 100's of Kevin Mass', Dan Pasquas', Shane Spencers' etc.

Same guy who has used "most talented pitcher in all of baseball (except maybe Verlander)" when describing Chapman...
Katy Perry?
Which is why I don't think the deal would happen either.
But there is 0.0% chance the Red Sox are just giving him away..
That... and JD is off his nut if he thinks the Phillies are getting an elite cache of prospects for a 35 year old making the kind of bank that Lee is.
