Very true, but the Mariners have their own closer problems as well. Steve Cishek is hot garbage and will likely lose his job before long. But he's Mariano Rivera compared to Shawn Tolleson.

Hell, make Matt Bush the closer. Or Jake Diekman. Or Sam Dyson. I'd honestly take my chances with Steve Busby right now over Tolleson. Or if Banny insists on the closer being Tolleson, let's get early-80's Ranger infielder Wayne Tolleson on the phone and see what he's up to these days. I'd trust him to close out a game more than Shawn Tolleson.

A closer should be consistently getting the #9 batter out. Tolly could not even do that.

He can't get the job done, he shouldn't be out there. If Banny puts him out there in the ninth he should be gone. And he can take Tolly with him. And if I could get out from Elvis's contract I would. Goes for Prince too.

Elvis and Beltre are like the two lungs of the team. Can't get rid of the lungs. I wouldn't mind letting Choo or Prince go.....but not Elvis.

Its more that the Mariners are going to put more runs on the board than our BP is going to be able to keep off the board, if fucktard Banister doesnt get some more options. Im not sold on Barnette, Kela is still hurt, Diek and Dyson have been good but you need more arms out there. I don't trust Faulkner or Jackson. BP needs help

Beltre is the heart and Elvis is the appendix, we have options at SS and if you can move him without eating a ton of $ do it. Gonna be hard to get rid of either contract of Prince or Choo because of years owed mostly

Shawn just doesnt have the velo, command or repertoire to close out games. Though its too early to insert Bush there
