Today was extended BP. They weren’t worrying about working the count. So far, errors 6!) have been terrible, as has the plate discipline (one walk?). Pitching has been good as a rule, the errors have not helped. We'll see if the Giants can come back in the 9th trailing by a run. Shame to waste a 4-0 lead, even if it is the first game of ST.
I am listening to 1050 RIGHT NOW (Iheart is horrible about turning the 680 feed back on after games) and Frandsen is interviewing Dugger. Why isn’t he doing Philly radio? That is so awkward.
I see you've already gotten into midseason shape.I am glad I am not watching this. I might have to buy a new tv if I was...
I don't really understand the arrangement Frandsen has, other than he works for both the Giants and Phillies. I don't usually pay attention but I thought that only typically happens between local and national broadcasts.I am listening to 1050 RIGHT NOW (Iheart is horrible about turning the 680 feed back on after games) and Frandsen is interviewing Dugger. I don’t mess around. I come into camp ready to rampage.I see you've already gotten into midseason shape.

None of the “real” Giants were involved in that travesty, so who really cares, but just that abysmal baseball like that is hard to watch.LOL first random game of spring training and you are already getting worked up. I like the passion!

Giants certainly are taking their time getting to “real” players.
Today's lineup features...
1 actual starter (Belt)
1 backup with squatters rights (Parker)
2 very longshots to make the opening day squad (Blanco, Mac)
5 no-chance bodies (Hactor, Rutledge, Calixte, d’Arnaud and Shaw)
Yesterday’s lineup had a similar breakdown. I guess they need to look at the bottom feeders to know who actually has a snowballs chance at a surprise rise...
I'll wait until the final bay series to get engaged. In the meantime Stanford is 8-0 and cracked a top 10 ranking. Weather's been a bit brisk to the night games, but day's at Sunken Diamond are fine. I'll enjoy the college game until Stanford cracks.
