1) Ravens pass will be much improved and Manning will be rushed all day.

2) Broncos pass rush is depleted and Flacco will have time

3)Ravens running game > Broncos

Unless Holliday has multiple TD runbacks again I see a Ravens victory.

Sooo, the Ravens lost a lot on defense this year but you're predicting that they will be much improved without their vocal leader in Ray Lewis?

Yeah, it's Manning in the regular season so I expect a 10 point victory by the Broncos.

1) Ravens pass Rush will be much improved and Manning will be rushed all day.

If you are counting on Doom being part of that improvement you may be sorely mistaken. He tends to be a feast of famine DE in the sacks department and I doubt he gets the best of Clady. Besides Manning will have multiple outlets in his passing game. Good luck trying to cover D. Thomas, Decker, Welker, J. Thomas and a RB. Too many options to cover.

2) Broncos pass rush is depleted and Flacco will have time

Flacco will need time. He has Torrey Smith, Jacoby Jones, and their like 16th receiving option. Flacco will not have a safety blanket in Boldin or Pitta this time. I think the broncos can scheme enough to hide a blitz from Mr. Elite.

3)Ravens running game > Broncos

That is debatable. Neither team has a ground game that was much better than the other.


I think the major factor, considering what the ravens offense and broncos defense can do, is whether the broncos defense can stop the long ball stuff that shredded them in the playoffs. Not having Miller will hurt the pass rush but considering he was used in mostly coverage in last year's playoff game it will not be a game ender. They shut down Flacco's long ball and I don't think the Ravens will be able to keep up with Manning.

I say this will be the first in a long season of brutal loses for the 7-9 ravens. the ravens arent better than anyone at anything. I also think that anyone who cant even post on their own board but always trolls other team boards is a complete loser.

All Doom has to do is less then what Kruger did last year and that line up across from Suggs and put a little pressure. We don't need him to stop the run or set the edge. Suggs gets the double team and Canty and Haloti Ngata push up field in the Center.

Don't forget the Broncos lost their starting and backup CENTERS and Haloti Ngata has now been brought back to his natural NT position. He chews Maurkice Pouncey (Pro Bowl) Center up every year and if u don't hunk he will do the same to a 3rd string Center take off the blinders.

Please Flacco and Torrey and Jacoby will be fine but add the production from recently picked up veterans and a new 2 back set which Caldwell has said will feature Poerce in the backfield and Ray Rice lined up in the slot as a receiver and thats deadly. Who will cover Ray Rice out of the backfield and Pierce as a handoff option? nobody thats who.

FYI.. Ray Rice and B. Pierce were voters top 5 NFL tandems in the NFL and if you are somehow comparing Ray Rice to Moreno thats an insult to Ray Rice.

The problem with what your saying about Miller is this...Somebody has to pass rush and Miller will not only be off the field for that but for coverage as well. He is a beast and will be missed I wish he was playing but IMO wouldn't matter he was ineffective last year in the playoffs and our O-Line will be one of the best in the league this year and had an incredible camp for the first team.

"Gonna be a good game" only because Von Miller won't be playing, which is the reason we are only favored by 8-10 points. With him in there, we would destroy the Ravens. Without him, we will still win, no problem.

The Ravens only legitimate chance to win will be if their line can protect Falco all day. Our DBs will cover just fine and our team speed should be able to keep Ray Rice from running all over the place. We just need to get pressure from the D-line and mix in some blitzes to put Falco where he belongs - on his back.

On the other side of the ball, Peyton will have at least 300 yards passing, and if we can muster 100+ yards rushing, the Ravens will be in for a long day.

How can you say with Miller in u destroy us? He did nothing in either game last year. He was dominated by our Oline....did nothing.

Don't forget Manning was ineffective against our D at mile high and we didn't even have out best CB in lad Webb.

I like it how you tell me to take off the blinders but have not said one bad thing about your own team. You claim there will be no problem in your receiving, you won't even admit there is a question there. You are not only drinking the kool-aid you are swimming in it.

As for your running game comments, I was not comparing overall stats. I am not stupid. I was looking at the games from last year. Moreno did more in Baltimore than Rice and neither team had much of a run game in the playoff game. Comparing any running back stats between a flacco offense and Manning is stupid. The ravens have been a run first team with Flacco. A Manning offense is never run first.

First of all, we did not lose our backup center, Manny Ramirez was the backup and is currently the starter till Walton returns. Koppen was not even on the roster when training camp broke and was only signed after Walton went down. Koppen was Manny's backup and from every word I had heard was nowhere close in supplanting Ramirez. Manning will also take a lot of pressure off of Manny by making most line adjustments for Manny and allow Manny to mostly worry about getting the ball into Mannning's hands and blocking. Manny was actually starting to come around in the last portion of the season. Probably one of the biggest mistakes made by the Bronco's in the playoff game was putting Kuper back in and taking Manny out. Kuper was being abused and his early comeback cost him the time that he will be out this year.

Second, Manning's problem during the playoffs was the cold was affecting his grip on the ball. 2.3 seconds, that is the average amount of time your boys will have to get to Manning before he gets rid of the ball. I am not saying that it is not possible, I am just saying that unless they are unabated, the ball will likely be gone before any of your rushers get close to Manning.

Third and this is not dumping on Dumervil, nor is it a new opinion of mine (I have been saying it for years), but Dumervil is a liability in coverage, poor against the run, and is swallowed up by quality Tackles. What use is he going to be on the field?
