You would think his finger would be pretty soar after surgery, I can't imagine he'd be ready to go within a week... I broke a finger once and it was swollen and soar for a while ...

Yeah i broke my thumb when i slammed it into a stump at about 30 MPH on a Quad ( thumb throttles SUCK! ) I couldn't use it for 3 months. The fact they said Penny was moving his finger blows me away.

I remember when Ronnie Lott asked them to cut off his pinky finger during a game when it was broken so he could get it wrapped and get back out there... Calvin Johnson played w/ 3 broken fingers in 2012...

I wear protective gear unlike that dipshit. Also only thing that hit the stump was my thumb because with the thumb throttle your THUMB is below the handlebars sticking forward to push those stupid things. Needless to say even before i rode again i had replaced it with a twist throttle.

My broken thumb though most likely was worse than Penny's broken finger. I smashed the knuckle into like 5 pieces i didn't break the bone in half.
