Only bc he can't add to sacks. He could have 3 or 4 in one half against Rutgers. Probably could have added a couple against Maryland. If LSU wins out Burrow is likely to get Heisman anyway

Not true. He said he had a 4 game suspension. That was not the truth, so he was wrong. Which is why I said it was just speculation.

Kirk said it was a four-game suspension before the NCAA had even concluded their investigation. Hence, he was speculating, and his speculation turned out to be wrong.

To add to this, Kirk was spewing the NCAA "Guidelines" for such infractions, which is sort of like the speed limit on the freeway - it's generally a suggestion and if you don't want to get flattened, go the same speed as everyone else or get the hell out of the way.

He later tried to walk it back a bit and say he expected it to be reduced to 4 games, but there was never a finding of 4 games from the NCAA.
