Gervais is a fine 6/7 with the right system. He actually works well within Lavy's system because he skates well and moves the puck. His biggest shortcomings tend to be over committing to the puck instead of sticking with his man. I actually would keep him around simply because he is a right handed shot, can work on the PP and by all that I have read/heard, he is a great locker room guy.
