The pitcher had just thrown three straight balls, totally off the plate after a first pitch strike. Then the idiot takes a batter time out.

Then grounds the next pitch to Vlad Junior for the force out at the dish.

Then 2 terrible at bat strikeouts inning over

Sam Haggerty just caught on / maybe? called up? with the Texas Rangers here in the past couple days

I always liked his gritty 110% style of play. He was talented but just not quite talented enough to be a full-time daily major-league baseball player. I really hope he makes it someday as long as that doesn’t hurt the Mariners in one way shape or form.
