We are starting to struggle again at the plate. This guy is very hittable and we only managed 4 hits through 6 innings. Got two in the 7th but stranded two in a tied game.

Haven't the fucking pitching coaches figured out all the Jays want to do is slap the ball to the right side? Quit pitching the fucking ball outside to right handed hitters. MF'ers. Lost game becuse of it.

Tough loss

NWinAZ is spot on in his assessment above about Hitter struggling for the Mariners right now.

MLB channel allowed me to watch nearly the entire game on TV which is why I didn’t post very much at all during the game

A lot of really poor at bats poor swings poor pit selection to make swings getting behind in the count. There just wasn’t many more bad things our hitters could’ve done to look any worse at the plate then what they did.

We’re still tallest hog at the trough when it comes to the division so we need to sack up and notch up a win for the mom’s tomorrow. And get back to the grindstone with New York rolling into the town ready to beat up on them.

The bats absolutely are going to have to come alive against New York. They could possibly beat us three straight the way we are looking right now at the plate

I said on here during game 1 that we might be lucky to win 1 game in the homestand. I meant that. Like you described, bad ABs killed us. So overanxious. Even the hot hitting Foolio chased bad pitches but hit them hard enough for groundball hits. That is not a good AB. It is a good result, but not AB.

Where has Mitch Garver’s home run power gone?

That guy was borderline power hitter prior to coming to Seattle
