I was high on McCann in his draft year. If his ceiling is 2nd line C, that's good but the Leafs have like 6 guys who could potentially fill that role (including Kadri) so I don't know if that's the best fit.

Maybe Cassels/Virtanen/1st rounder for Kessel or JVR and the Leafs take Bieksa off your hands?

Who knows. I could see the Canucks having an interest in Phil or JVR, and like JStew said Dubas is a McCannFann. Vancouver has prospects, Leafs have scoring. If the Canucks use Vrbata to get help on defence they could move prospects and picks and rid themselves of Bieksa and get either a cheaper Vrbata (JVR) or a better scorer (Kessel).

I recall Kenny complaining about his handling of the youth. He was obviously onto something with that given how the season turned out. Don't know if he'd fit BUF or DET given their current youth movements.

You can have Gardiner. Apparently the Blue Jackets have interest and Todd Richards was scouting him intensely during the WHC. My guess is he left rather unimpressed.
