This NW-UM game is intense.

I watched the Illinois-Minnesota game yesterday. The 3 point shooting kind of scared me. Opposing team making 3s has been a struggle for Iowa. I also noticed the game was slow paced compared to Iowa's. Iowa like to go fast paced.

Illinois can beat Iowa if they keep up with Iowa and have great 3 point shooting day. Also, stay out of foul trouble. When Uthoff and Gesell charge the basket, they are good at causing fouls.

I think he was talking about at the stadium. The stands were pretty bare for a conference tournament game, even for double digit seeds.

I'm interested to see how many Iowa fans show up.

There's no way I would spend even $25 to watch that crap.

IU is the 1 seed but I really feel like they're the 3rd best team in the conference. I still think Maryland is the most complete team in the B1G, just waiting for them to put it together.

I can compare the pace of the game though. Illinois wasn't pushing the pace of the game, but they didn't need to. Iowa will push the pace of the game. I can see an upset if Illinois keeps up with Iowa and has a strong shooting performance, but it should be an easy win for Iowa.

Well, that and Iowa has lost 5 of their last 7 games, with a 4-point win at Iowa City vs that Minnesota team.

Gophers had all their guys then. Full strength gophers still suck but they probably beat Illinois.

And Iowa played terrible that day.

Indiana is a completely different team at home. Now, they won't have that luxury. On top of that, it's my lack of faith in Tom Crean to ever get IU to a final four.

Iowa is best when they charge the rim and forces fouls, but they will be on fire doing that and all of a sudden start shooting 3 pointers and miss 3/4 of them. Iowa will dominate Illinois if they attack the rim and control the pace of the game.
