I don't remember either player being ranked as top 30 players on most draft boards, and there were real questions about how Mahomes would fare playing in an NFL offense much of which due to his erratic decision making that he's turned into a strength.I like how everyone, and I do mean e-v-e-r-y-one, claims to know Mahomes would be this good. Watson was definitely always ranked as such but just from the quick search I did Trubisky was either just in or just out of the top 30.
