FWIW, Giants had 4 starters the received CY Young votes (Lincecum, Cain, Bumgarner, Volgelsong). It's the first time since 1986 one NL team has had 4 pitchers receive votes and only the second time ever since the Cy Young has been divided into 2 leagues. It has never happened in the AL.

Timmeh finished 6th, Cain 8th.

Also FWIW, Sagarin rated the same four starters in the top 14 among NL pitchers last year, giving them the highest rated #4 starter. However, PHI had 3 of the top 5.

That is impressive. Essentially, the Giants had FOUR aces last year (if you assume the top 16 pitchers would be considered "#1"s)...
