This is a serious homer prediction, right? I’d love to believe the same, but what makes you believe the Braves can do that good? Much weaker on offense & defense. Bullpen is better. Teheran gone is the biggest plus I see. I predict 87-75 & recipient of the lesser wild card.

They have a good as chance as any since the division is weak.
A real bold prediction would be putting the Pirates in 4th place.

red sox will compete (too much talent not too) but they wont win over 93 games. that'll be a stretch.
2nd place here we come.

Still high risk to put up a Cy Young season

Yeah for Cy Young definitely. I've heard he can make a speedy recovery which would probably be 6 weeks. If he did that, he would only miss a couple starts...if he misses 8 weeks, looking at 5-6 starts

I think the Rays will be better.

I could see low 90s if Eduardo/Sale are healthy and if they get average pitching from Perez/Eovaldi. Hopefully Weber can be an adequate #5 though I expect Kyle Hart or Brian Johnson to supplant him. If any/several of our #1-4 go down the rotation could get ugly fast. Even without Betts the lineup should still be pretty good.
