Speaking of, Odor has put together an impressive OBP run of late.

I'm trying to work with as many of em as I can every week......It's a lot, but I'm doing the best I can......OK?

But seriously, Odor has shown me more than I would have ever thought possible about him. Very impressive.

The Guru has stared into the cosmos, and unfortunately he sees a 1 win series for the Rangers. The Guru also should mention that the Rangers have been outplaying his predictions.

Unfortunately, sometimes the Guru is spot on.

While we're at it, how about finding a CF that can hit. It is beyond me that almost a season has gone by and we can only hope for a infield hit. Not even close to what we need to contend. IDK maybe later.
I agree. Wouldn't bother me if he wasn't on this team next season. Not to mention he has absolutely no arm. Pretty frustrating when the other team has a player on second and if someone gets a base hit he has no chance of throwing him out.

I think we just have to patient as I agree with you as we really do not have a CF worth getting excited about right now. But as has been stated by others on previous boards there will be someone else than these we see now in CF in a year or two.

We have something brewing at the position places. Just need the pitching to go with it down the road.

Not sure if anyone follows other teams, but Pudge's son Dereck has blossomed into a terrific starter for the Giants.

I just saw something ridiculous:

If the season ended today, the Mariners would have a better record than any team in the NL... and would miss the postseason entirely.

Bite your tongue. Can't stand NL baseball with the pitcher batting.

Not that it would have made a bit of difference, but Hamels has been very good since switching jerseys.

I’d hate to see the cubs kick our ass on yet another trade.

We need at least one of those prospects to pan out.

Small bit of difference Startinf pitching has not beem our strong suit. Hamels is excited which helps and so does a bit more user friendly park.

Agree. Still Parker doesn't think it was his best stuff as his swing and misses were few on his FB.

Conversely Palumbo may make if up sooner then you suggested. I think he gets a ST invite and make get a cup of coffee next year at the least. 2020 he should get some starts if all goes well.
Yeah, I tend to think Palumbo gets some opportunities to pitch a handful of games up here in 2020, but he doesn't make the club out of ST until 2021. He will only get about 8 starts at Down East this year so he probably splits time between there and Frisco next year.

He has almost always, with a few exceptions, been a better NL pitcher so that doesn't surprise me one bit. He always belonged in the NL.
