So I think after all that what did you narrow it down to? Kirk and Dotson or you just going with Dotson?

another thing to note, but I'm not entirely sure this happens every year, but the draft is in-person at a crappy little bar in a farm town. last year, they set a cardboard box on the bar and everyone threw $10 or $20 into the box....open bar for the entire draft

I know I'm late to the party here, but Dotson gets my vote. He probably would have gotten it before the McLauren injury but now he certainly gets it.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders.

Encourage everyone to get there early and drink heavily. Nominate Justin Tucker first and watch everyone run up the bidding to $20 on a kicker.

one guy kept Dalvin Cook ($69) then got Taylor ($74) and Tee Higgins ($26) very early in the draft, was basically done within the first 20mins or so since he only had $31 left for 12 spots. He drank more than his fair share of beers

Did you decide on your keeper?

went with Dotson for $1

felt like the WRs were going for crazy high values then ended up being forced into a WR2/3 platoon of vets vs getting a stud like I had originally planned, and also ended up with money left in the bank that went unused (yes, I fucked up pretty royally imo). on the flip side, felt like RB values were really good compared to some of the other guys auction values yesterday. went bargain hunting at QB too...probably bad to do that on both QB and WR but too late now

D Jones ($3), A Richardson ($2)
D Henry ($46), D Pierce ($18), D Cook ($17), M Sanders ($10) J McKinnon ($10)
T Lockett ($13), B Cooks ($12), J Jeudy ($9), C Godwin ($8), M Thomas ($5), J Dotson ($1 KEEPER)
D Njoku ($3)
Philly D ($2)

really big glaring hole by missing a WR in the $40-50 range, still chaps my ass that I messed that up yesterday but the game isn't won on draft day

Money left over? That's surprising but I've seen others that have done the same on occasion. Think your spending adds up to $159 so if you started with $200 to spend, that leaves $41 in the bank, I hope the sum you started with isn't greater than $200. Does the left over carries over for bidding on WW players?

200 budget, no carry over to FAAB budget

there were a few guys that had leftover funds but I was by far the worst offender after missing out on a top WR.
auctioneer closed up a few guys quicker than usual when I was debating to bid higher or not, was really unfortunate that it was always a WR when it happened to me

for reference:
Chase $78
Jefferson $76
Hill $60
Diggs & AJB $50
Lamb $48
Olave $39
Higgins $36
Metcalf $32
Kupp $30
