Rod was the most passionate playbyplay guy out there. He loved Auburn. RIP to him and his wife.

A sad day for Alabama. Even when Alabama wasn't playing, I'd find the Auburn game on the radio and listen just because Rod was so good at his job. Bringing the passion to the game every weekend isn't easy, and he did it for almost two decades. It's really sad that his wife was killed too... bad situation overall. I hope the kids can find some good relatives or great adoption parents soon. That's as tragic as it gets. Prayers out to the Bramblett family, I hope they can cope with this and continue on with life.

I never say it... but War Eagle Rod. You are and always be an Alabama sports legend.
