Armstrong will most likely be our starting qb. Young defense should be well seasoned by then.Abduhla and Bell will be seniors competing for the Heisman. Barney Cotton will be the head coach at USC. JP will be a beat reporter for the world herald.

This is easy RA

In this scenario Bo is still here so we are still have Mid Majors threaten us at home and conference foes blow us out.

You are right. This is easy.

How about this one. Coach Pat Hill has the Huskers led by Qb Ryker Fyfe , off to a 4-1 start with the only loss being to a tough Fresno St squad.

Former rb Ameer Abdulah has made a big splash in the CFL after deciding to forego his senior season after the dismissal of Bo Pelini.

Not really what I can call fun I just don't like him buying time by claiming young defense when he hasn't been able to do anything with his mature recruits to start with.

It certainly doesn't buy time with me. Not my choice but he would of been gone last year if I signed the check. Definitely this year if he doesn't turn around. I'm even past the no more blow out conditions. You field a team that is ready to play or get the hell out.

No game is a walk in the park and if your starters think that then you are making too damn much money no matter what you get paid.

Young Defense is no excuse at all. I agree 100% with that. And he needs to perform THIS season as a head coach I also say take schollys away from players that dont figure out that its no walk in the park until the second quarter. Lazy is not coached and we have a lot of it on the team.

Long story short our Defense needs to improve top to bottom this season .

I don't know if it is as much lazy as over confident but lazy is a culture and you have to have leadership on the team to address it. If you don't have leaders to handle it than you address it yourself to the whole team.

Lazy shows up long before game time also, certainly before the 4th game of the season, especially after being embarrassed on your home field already.

I am willing to blame players to but they are not being paid millions.

I think it is more over confident though because our staff does not recognize and address the weaknesses prior to them blowing up in their faces. They spend the whole off season blowing smoke up everyones ass not because they think they will fool anyone but because they honestly believe they have something great. Then when it blows up in their face well the players didn't execute, the players were young and had to grow up in front of 90,000.

Bullshit. These are addressed by every team in every state in this country and many of them are ready to play come game time.

I agree, you are right on all points. we ll have to wait until seasons end to see how this turns out.

although someone, and I honestly can not remember where I read this, said that Valentine has the potential to be as good as Suh but lacks the work ethic and was even called lazy.
