After Jr., Edgar, Randy, ARod, and Ichiro. I’m crossing my finger that JRod will be the one that will lead us into greatness for the future.

If Dipoto and management are serious about winning they MUST build around him at all cost before he falls into the same list of players I listed before him.

Solid win yesterday and I'm feeling positive about LG going against the Pads today.

But, Debby Downer lurks. The team was 31-40 on June 20th. Since then they've gone 9-2 with 10 of those games against some of the worst teams in MLB (Baltimore, LAA, Oakland).

They remain 17-26 against teams current above .500. Are they, once again, creating false hope? The schedule is a contributing teaser from here on out. 18 of the next 30 games are against teams probably bound for the playoffs. But, that is followed by a stretch in which 14 of 18 games are against sub .500 teams.

I think our hopes will get jerked around for the remainder of the season.

How can that guy get away with rocking his feet on the mound like that? Its so odd that he gets the Mariners batters to start doing too like its a trance.

  • Teams that promote a player to the opening day roster and keep him up for a full season will be eligible to receive up to three draft picks if the player finishes in the Top 3 in the Rookie of the Year voting or Top 5 in MVP/Cy Young voting before he is eligible for arbitration.
does this mean....for julio...winning the..rookie of the year...mariners would..get 3 extra draft...picks....????

Doug Eddings is a joke back there today. Zero borderline strikes for Logan and Munoz, multiple questionable for Clevinger.

Fucking sucks to have to throw 4 or 5 strikes per at bat

These guys are really yanking our chain. It's like a freaking yoyo. They were 29-39 on June 19th. :finger:

Yea I watched most of the game / at bats and Logan was definitely getting squeezed by the home plate ump.
Not much you can do, keep your cool and continue to make quality pitches and let your catcher work the ump.

I am really liking all aspects of Haggerty's game: speed on the bases - speed in the outfield getting to balls to make outs vs they fall for hits - he hustles full out on any and every play. Decent enough contact hitter to have in the bottom of the lineup. I like him over Trammel.
Who knows if and when Haniger tip toes his way back to the big club.

Yeah, Haggerty was good in his time last year too. He's Dylan Moore without the long slumps. Have to wonder if he can play 2B at all since he's looking better at the plate than Frazier too. He's a guy who's actually playing his way INTO the lineup rather than just another body to fill a spot.

I love it when this team wins....no matter who they're up against. If/when we get France, Hanny and Lewis back, if our pitching holds up, this team will be a team to reckon with- as long as Servais doesn't f it up.

18 so..in..119..thats good....if he still has base stealing..or hr upside...then...well..then..

it seems to me..hrs..4..in 119 as well.

but it would not take kilinec..to get him..prob a pitcher... or some worth..10..
