I will be frequenting the Giants game tonight with my two daughters and wife for my belated Father's Day gift. My girls (ages 3 and 1) are decked out in Giants gear, but my wife is stubborn and wearing her Dodgers shit...I'll be rocking my orange throwback jersey, in case anyone sees us on TV.

If this were the '09 Giants or the 1st half '10 Giants, I would be somewhat OK with this offensive offensive showing (not a typo). But this team currently has 5 players who we all thought had a chance to be legit all stars at the beginning of the season and 3 players who actually were all stars. There is simply no excuse for this effort.

Words fail in how completely inept this team has been playing. Can't pitch when they hit (rarely), can't hit when they pitch (often), blowing leads, almost total ineptitude with the bat. Where is the leadership to stir them from their slumbers? They were supposed to be a very good team. Right now, and for the past two plus months, they have been awful.

Seemingly every decision backfires. PH the wrong guy. Bring in the wrong pitcher. Shift the defense the wrong way. Send the runner home when they should stay, keep them at 3rd when they should go home.

Sad, really.

When she told me she was a Dodgers fan...I responded by telling her that I FINALLY found her first flaw. I already knew she was a bad decision maker, she agreed to go out with me.
