BP is not good, Feliz seems to give up a run every other time out

No, management let this decline during the off season. I have never felt good about having Feliz as our closer and even when he had a nice ERA in ST I did not have a good feeling about Claudio. I feel like he is just throwing it up there and saying here it is, go ahead and hit it. I hope he proves me wrong because we need a LH reliever in a bad way.

That's not true at all. JD tried to bring a couple of lefty's in. They just happened to all shot the bed, and Ross would be in the pen now except Holland got hurt.

Frankly, is there a purpose to having a guy on your bench you have so little faith in him, offensively anyway, that he gets 5 ABs in 8 games?

If you're a real good team, and you can spare a guy for speed/defensive purposes (see Gentry) then good for you. Unfortunately, this just isn't us in May of 2015.

Good Lord! Didn't know it was that bad. Caldy all by himself has been a train-wreck. That's what I get for giving him credit a few weeks ago I guess.

But for me personally, I'm in total baseball/Ranger mode now and hate to miss the contest.

I am all for finding out which of our young relievers we can count on. We can find out this season so that we know what we need for the future. Guys like Mendez, Claudio, and others will struggle at times, but that is fine with me. Let them learn how to pitch in the big leagues this year and give management a chance to learn which of them they can trust going forward.

They are ridiculous now. Blown two 5 run leads late in games. But I know what you really meant. My biggest concern with them is control. Most just try and throw hard with no idea where it will end up. That will be the key because they have the stuff. Plus we still need some left-handed options.
