I didn't really get that pinch running move myself.

It was idiotic. Beltre was on the 3rd with the lead run at the time and had Martin PR for Blanks at 1st. What was the point? And it is not like Blanks is a slug. Now Martin coming to PR for Choo would have made more sense because it is the tying run in the 9th. So now we are without Choo and Blanks and Martin who was out anyway. Just not smart baseball. I was hoping we would get lucky and maybe we still will.

Like I said, not impressed with Banny's tactics.

A hitter with a little power would have hit that pitch out too.

BP and good/bad defense did us in. Offense battled all the way.

Why don't we call up Telis and give him another shot? He's killing AAA pitching. He can't be any worse than our current catchers.

Odor: 1-3 w/ a BB
Hamilton: 1-2, 2 RBI's

BP is not good, Feliz seems to give up a run every other time out

Uh oh. I think Beltre may have pulled something in his side.

I think he pulled it diving to catch a ball to his left. Saw him hold his side when he got up. Affected him rest of the way but still his heroics in the field after and at the plate after just show us what a character he has as the team leader.

Like I said, not impressed with Banny's tactics.

I think that was the most unhappy Banister post game interview yet. Reporters got under his skin ... and he chewed all over his tongue to not take their heads off. The first question ... making a point that he absolutely made the right decision ... yet it failed.

Some lame writer trying to get him to throw Claudio under the bus. For what purpose does the press want the manager to blame someone? It's a game.

He fought it and refused directly but he still threw part of Claudio under the bus with his line that 'there was disappointment in the dugout' ... when it was very clear that Claudio was maddest guy in Texas.

When there are big bad plays by position players on the field on the base paths ... those all get glossed over ... and some focus on the pitcher throwing a pitch that is 6" more toward the plate than the pitcher intended and as Banister said .. 'good batter got his bat on it'. That's not a concentration error.

Romeo and others have noted (despite all the glossy glory by Busby) that Feliz is running all the time with only two wheels on the ground. Buzz ... the reason he's better at keeping an eye on base runners now is because 'back n the day' there were rarely base runners and he didn't have to check 1b was because there wasn't anyone there.

Agree. Would love to 8 more just like him out on the field.
