idk if he was saying that because his lineup sucks, as much as he was saying that because he was pissed that he made a mistake pitch and paid for it. in other words, i think he's accepting responsibility and thinking "dammit, that pitch just lost us the game."

I wouldn't like that attitude if I'm on his team. It was in the 4th inning. You are saying you don't think your team can come back. It shows a complete lack of confidence in your team.

@espn_durrett: #Rangers Adrian Beltre has Grade 1 left quad strain. Not on DL for now. Beltre and club will take weekend to determine if it's needed.

Ouch that's no bueno... bet he will see a little DL time but they are stalling on it, so maybe there is hope. Seems like if they thought it was bad enough, they would just start the DL clock now.

I thought it was already determined that Colby was pitching Saturday. Now because of the Beltre injury Scheppers will be starting, and that Colby won't be pitching until next week.

Scheppers will have better luck with this team. Anxious to see how he does against Houston.

If I understand with him not playing they can make the DL clock start back on April 9th which is when he first missed a game. They do not have to make any move until Colby is called up because he agreed not to do anything rash yesterday knowing the situation and that he will probably pitch Monday or Tuesday. I think they want Beltre to be able to play in the Seattle series if he does well over the next few days. The DL would knock that out.

Not to me. I bought the tickets for Saturday when Yu was scheduled. Then it went to Colby, and now Scheppers. I like them all, but was excited more for the first 2.

That's a little bit of bummer, or would be to me anyway. But hey, it's the Rangers, this could be a pretty important start for Scheppers, and with all that is going on, it's gotta be pretty interesting at the very least.

Don't get me wrong espn does over hype situations and people... it's what they do. But an Era after 1 or 2 starts really doesn't tell you that much about a SP
