I'm honestly wondering who we can turn to in the late innings of games these days besides Bush and (I guess) Dyson. Diekman has been trash lately, Kela is extremely shaky, and Jeffress is in rehab.

Kela is still working his way back but pitched better in the last couple of games.

This bullpen is bullshit guys...seriously...Just horseshit walk after walk until its a 2 run or 1 run lead.

Exactly this, particularly the last part. They cannot throw strikes. They simply can't. Walk after walk and what should be maybe 1-run innings turn into 4-run innings due to the many free base runners we've given them.

Just throw strikes and let them hit it.

My wife and I was at a restaurant with our 2 sons, daughter-in-law and grandson and saw us go down 2-0 and not score after having men on 2nd and 3rd with 0 outs. Get to sons house and it was 2-2 and watched and left at 10-3. On the way home I said to myself if it ends up 10-9 I will be really ticked even though we get a W. Now I really did not think it was anything to worry about. Then get home and see Diekman totally stink again and hold on. But it wasn't 10-9.

I don't think that is the issue. Throw strikes. Diekman is just a thrower and not a pitcher the much of the time. Claudio and Barnette have been good the majority of the time so I think we can cut them some slack.

The W is what matters but what in the world is going on with this bullpen? They walk the worst hitters on every team they face. I don't get it. There's not a one of them that consistently throws strikes right now.

Tonight we should have used 2 arms out of the pen at most.

Got the win but this is becoming a massive problem for the Rangers.

I think they've all thrown a high in IP aside from Barnette and Kela, extra rest couldn't hurt. The Maz error didnt help and yes they have to throw strikes
