Really don't think there is anything Gallo can learn in minors. Still a lot to learn but needs to do with MLB pitchers

If, big if granted, but IF they were to send him down and all he did was homer or K, then both he & us are permenantly screwed........He wouldn't be sent down to work on 'bowing up.' He does plenty of this already.

You're probably right. After all, what could a guy who's had 800 ab in the majors learn in the minors with a lifetime avg of .202.

In theory if he went down to totally change his approach, especially his 2 strike approach then yes AAA would help. But the pitching is weaker and he could still blast it without learning anything. After all, he is near the lead in HRs now. But yes that don't mean squat with 2 strikes on you swinging at a pitch high out of the zone.

Humble pie is only meant to help him change not just a hand slap punishment. But yeah perhaps he is coddled
