I just meant it's weird to see a V8 in a car with a "6" in the model name...confused me. When I first looked at an Audi, I went right to the A8 thinking the A4 had a 4 cylinder and so forth.

The number is the size of the car, much like BMW 1, 3, (4), 5, 6, 7 series or Mercedes C, E, S class.

my grandparents used to have a couple of these bad boys

I remember this one somewhere in the famn damily. The Ford "Country Squire." There have been a lotta cool wagons over the years.
Heard these are a disaster to work on, especially the suspension. Otherwise I might have bit on an old Citroen.

Here's the Sultan of Brunei's Bentley Wagon.

I think out of all the wagons from the glory days, the Mercury Colony Park wagon is my fav. It has all the funky lines, fins, headlight eyebrows, a little wood...just as far as they could go with it:

Disgusting.

Almost as bad as this piece of shit:

The MB CLS63 wagon has about the same HP. I like. Of course, all wheel drive means little to me in FL except for the 5 minutes it rains each day in the summer.
