I could see going to Lowes to put a few slabs of grass in the back of this one.

It's not their first wagon either:

I feel the same way toward this that I do a Panamera: If I want a grocery-getter, I'm not going to buy an Aston Martin or Porsche. But is that a real car, or is it a render?

^ They're going to debut it at the Geneva auto show. Then they'll gauge demand and guess at a production #.

I agree that anyone who can afford a car like this should just have a station wagon and a sports car as well. The urge to have both in one, I'm guessing, comes in urban areas with a lack of parking space.

If you wanted a serious wagon, I wouldn't choose anything but this

As you know, GM can blow me. However, I wonder which is better on the track; the Audi above or the CTS-V wagon?

Just barely..
I'll bet they are pretty comparable on the test track..
I'd like to be the guy doing the driving.

Aston Martin wagon...all day long. I like it a lot, and I like the old Lagonda wagon. But with that front end, can any version of an AM look bad? Wonder if they will design a ute version, pick up bed in the rear.

Doubt it. Americans suck and don't buy wagons or hatchbacks.

The wagon body would probably be available. I was curious about the twin turbo V-10.
And I think you mean, rich Americans won't spend that kind of money on a wagon or hatchback.
I don't blame them either. If I were going to throw down 80 grand on a car, it wouldn't be a wagon..or hatchback.

Potzer you have to understand that many of those hatchbacks and wagons we grew up (Gen Xer's) were totally awful pieces of shit. It really left a mark that hasn’t went away. During the late 70’s and 80’s Volvo did a good job at trying to correct that with the 250DL wagon.

Reason doesn't matter. They don't sell well here. Audi won't bother making a RS4 or RS6 available in the US. Maybe if BMW sells enough 3 or 5 series wagons next year...

I have 2 old guy clients that drive a QP. They've had no problems and really like the car. You can buy them so incredibly depreciated after only a couple years. One guy paid $37k for his with under 20k miles from the guy who'd paid $100k + just a couple years before. Crazy.
