Heard these are a disaster to work on, especially the suspension. Otherwise I might have bit on an old Citroen.

Here's the Sultan of Brunei's Bentley Wagon.

There have been a lotta crazy wagon designs. This is a Nash Metropolitan Wagon:

I think out of all the wagons from the glory days, the Mercury Colony Park wagon is my fav. It has all the funky lines, fins, headlight eyebrows, a little wood...just as far as they could go with it:

This is a cool page with all the pics: Vintage Station Wagons

Chevy pussed out on bringing back a Nomad wagon. They suck. This is the 1999 concept:

Ford didn't offer a mustang wagon, so that is either a concept car never put in production, or someone decided to get creative on their own.

there's a reason for that

"1954 Corvette Nomad Wagon Concept. Chevy developed a series of concept vehicles based on the new Corvette. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your viewpoint), the Corvette part of the equation never materialized. Of course, Chevy did release the Nomad the following year under the the Belair line. As far as I know, this is the only one ever made by Chevy."

I've seen pics of other Mustang wagons, on a Mustang forum. But I believe they're all projects folks have done on their own.

one of these has got to be pretty dirt cheap by now, had to be the worst seeling srt-8. Awesome engine, 500hp easy with a quick tuning by paul walker.

Serious HP...but still don't get why they call the V8 cars an A6 or RS6? Seems like bad marketing.

What do you mean? An A6 and RS6 have VERY little in common, including a v8.

Audi offers an 'A' series of their cars, an 'S' series, which is a higher performance model that will have some upgrades (bigger wheels and breaks, sportier suspension, sportier interior/seats), and then their 'RS' line, which are all put down pretty absurd power numbers, may have wider fenders, even 'racier' models.

I just meant it's weird to see a V8 in a car with a "6" in the model name...confused me. When I first looked at an Audi, I went right to the A8 thinking the A4 had a 4 cylinder and so forth.
