Fun watching Aoki as a legit leadoff hitter, though.

Agree... Nothing like hearing, "Runners at the corners, 2 outs with Marte coming up to the plate"...

And also, did anyone else envision a different outcome at the plate w/ bases loaded (all walks btw) and our catcher coming up to the plate?

....easy grounder for the 3rd out for the inning... This team stinks so far w/ RISP...

Alright NW, egg on my face from the opening series. You may be right, same ol' Mariners. Of all the games, yesterday was the strongest reminder of years past. Is Felix jinxed? The poor guy pitches his ass of with nothing but a wasted performance. Long way to go, but damn

Only problem w/those comparisons is that both Malone and Fitzgerald have multiple postseason appearances, as well as finals/Super Bowl appearances.

Hernandez is on the short list of great players w/o postseason games.

Hey, nobody would have been happier if you had been right than me. I have just been burned too many times to go with your positive thinking w/o seeing it happen first. Good for you, really. I wish I could be that way these days.
