The Broncos are the only team in the entire playoff picture, AFC and NFC, who has a SOV over .500. The Pats are close, at .500. That will go up if they win tonight @ San Diego. Pointing this out is not a knock on the other teams: you play who is on your schedule. But it demonstrates the Broncos have played a brutal schedule this year. I know sometimes we're not satisfied because the team gives up a late score or plays a close game, but this team has played a gauntlet this season.
If they come away from the regular season with a first round bye, it's hats off to them. If they somehow are able to lock up the #1 seed, better still. This team is going to be battle tested come playoff time.
