I am hoping they IL Smiley and let Palumbo with a Springs piggyback for a couple of starts to help preserve Palumbo innings count. Can look at it again after 10 days. Could bring Valdez back too if if best option

They need to quit making excuses for Smyly. He sucks.

I know it was just 1 outing but Valdez looked like the most you can get out of him is an inning. He was falling apart that 2nd inning with his command. But he deserves another look. With Springs you just do not know what to expect but that tandem is not a bad idea. I mean it can't be any worse than Smyly and Miller getting their tails whipped.
