Here's another franchise that also has a problem with stats.

At least they corrected it.

During all last week, all they could talk about was how Sabonis was going to break the franchise double double streak.

Turns out he wasn't close.

What are the best two combined February and March the Jazz have had, since 2004-2005, inclusive?

It seems like they are usually terrible around this time of the year.

There was a game earlier this year or last year that enough players were suspended that they allowed a few players to be suspended for the next next game instead of the next. I feel what they should’ve done is just have them all suspended and then if they want to sign someone up from the G league in order to have the numbers appropriate or to make sure that they have enough backup from the game so as to not force someone to play 48 injured.

But it doesn’t make any sense that you’re not suspended for the next game. Make it cost the team by having to bring someone up from the development league. I don’t know how the contracts work, but that would be one of the factors. I don’t think it’ll be a big problem because it wouldn’t happen very often.

Tyrese Haliburton has 0 points and 3 assists in a loss to the Pelicans.

I wonder what the Grand Theft Alvarado vs. Haliburton plays were like.

Yesterday:

Cleveland was down 22 in the 4th and beat Boston.

Phoenix was down 22 in the 2nd half and beat Denver.

I think I got it switched, in my earlier post.

Phoenix was up 77 - 55 early in the 3rd.

It went into OT and Phoenix won.

Towns out indefinitely.

Minnesota finally has a season where they're a top seed. Now this, as the playoffs approach.

I am not saying this to start or resume an conference quality discussion.

Just a funny, random day observation.

The top 8 teams in the West are on a winning streak.

7 out of 8 top teams in the East are on a losing streak.

I know it is great that LeBron passed 40,000, but this is a bit unrealistic:

@MHSL82, why didn't you tell me Joe Ingles was healthy again?

He just had 5 assists in 15 minutes for Orlando!

I usually don't like talking about gambling, but I just heard someone who had a 3 team division winner parlay, in which one of the division winners was Orlando.

Wow.

Someone was onto Orlando, way before I saw in January that they were decent.

Orlando is the biggest surprise to me. Probably the biggest increase in number of wins, when the season ends.

Someone should say Wild East, or Beast In The West, sometime.

What stats are there that show whether a George-Sexton backcourt is good or not? That's the question that needs to be answered.

Look at the starters.
Look at the team why they believe they can do that.

Portland started all rookies. The bench consisted of two 3rd year players, one second year player and one rookie. I didn’t see the game or the flow of the game, but it’s pretty good to lose by three. Great effort.
