Yeah i'm pleased with that trade it isn't bad at all.

I was shocked by the LA Kings! man, they gave up wayyy too much for dustin penner, edmonton won that deal in my eyes clearly.

The new guy is great on draws but even though he's listed as being 6-5, word is he plays like he's 5-6.

Yes. From everything I'm reading though, it seems as if he doesn't throw his weight around enough. That could change under Lemaire.

Well hes probably the closest thing to maddened we've gotten in some time, even if he's no bone crushed if he takes up lanes well and uses his reach combined with that ridiculous face off percentage (almost 64 %) I think we got a player who is of use here so we shouldn't skip a beat and that's huge

I love Arnott but this is the right move for everyone involved. Caps get a top 6 guy and a leader they desperately need, Arnott goes to a contender, Devils get a decent return on somebody that doesn't look to fit into our future. I like it.
