Lightbourn 5 punts for a 42.4 yard average, with two or three downed inside the 20.

Drew Brown perfect. Kickoffs mostly out of the end zone.

Spielman, Kickoff return for a TD.

Special Teams is an A+++

O line played very well. The safety was bad and one sack was bad and some stupid penalties, but they played A LOT better than I thought they would. Tanner Lee had time.

O LINE B

QB PLay B

Receivers dropped some
Receivers B

Defensive line no pass rush, only have good rush numbers because Arkie State passed it 68 times. Wand broke off good runs at times

D Line D

Linebackers D

D backs C

If the defense did not have two interceptions then the grade would have been worse.

I guess Nebraska played a zone coverage and the linebackers covered one zone and the Arkie State receivers had their own zones. No idea what the pass defense was other than give the QB all day and don't really cover anyone. Looks like what we saw in the Spring Game is what Nebraska has.

Special teams gave up a 63yd punt return.

Lee was 19 of 32 (59%). I know his receivers dropped at least 3.

It's said that the most improvement is made in week 2. Let's hope that's right for the Huskers.

That was flukey though, had he not dropped the ball I don't think he gets outside of the coverage like that. Hard to say for sure tho.
Last time we played Ark St. Taylor Martinez was 13 of 14 if my memory serves correct.

Was out of range most of the day only caught a little of the 3rd qt, reading around I was upset we lost to the best team in AR but I was pleasantly surprised to see we in fact won the game.
Saw some good, some not, knot enough to jump to any conclusion just yet. That's a good team we just played and beat. Anxious to see what we do next week at the oregon

There were some things to be concerned about for sure, but the fact that we ran base personnel against that spread attack for 43 out of 48 plays in the first half makes me feel a little better. Typically that number is around 50%. We will find out next week.

I can certainly conclude that Defensively it's going to be a tough year.

Arkansas State is a good team, but they picked us apart as if we were playing Bama or something.

Not concerned at all about our Offense or Special Teams. I think both will be solid all season.

Ohio State is going to throw up another 60 on us if we don't wave a magic wand and make shit happen in the next few weeks.

I felt like Tanner Lee was getting up off the ground way too often for my liking

Yeah. Him dropping the ball threw a wrench in the coverage. It's said if you want a good punt return you need to make the first man (bullet) miss. That delay picking the ball back up made many miss.

the defense playing the way they did is hardly a conclusion, moving to the 3-4 isn't something that happens over a few practices

True that...How about 60 practices (spring/fall)?

I think I trust Jay Foreman when he says they aren't physical enough or using correct technique. The question is will/can those be fixed?

If they're scrimmaging every day then maybe but you know then best lessons are under live fire, they'll get better for certain, I don't think Dcow is going easy on them because it would make Rileys pussy more sore
