Go Snakes! Seven games in and as relevant as anyone.
To defend the "boomstick, baby" Mariners call...Seattle is a team that usually sees their boys hit about 4 HRs a year, so have to give them a little leeway. It's uncharted territory.
I think the West might be the best division in the NL this season. The Padres are dramatically improved this year. Getting James Shields and Craig Kimbrel are marquee acquisitions. Kemp looks better now than he did on the Dodgers. Upton might have a solid year. Then of course you already have the Giants and Dodgers in the division. The Rockies have played well so far. Then the Diamondbacks have definitely improved. Completely different vibe this season compared to last season. Lots of young talent which should only get better.
After the shitty seasons from the Suns and Coyotes I'm enjoying the vibe so far from this Diamondbacks team. I just hope it stays that way throughout the season.
