This is a big week. I am unsure of what to make of the first two series at home. Two series on the the road against decent competition should tell us if it was a facade or not.

This should be an interesting game. RDLR didn't pitch as bad as his stats suggest. He gave up 4 runs through 5 innings & then Hale tried to get him through the 5th but left with 2 runners on, who both scored later. His stuff is pretty good, he just needs to locate the fastball. If he is missing his spots early with the FB, it's going to be a short night for him & a long night for Dback fans.

Hill and Owings need to step up. The rest of the line-up looks solid enough.

Should be a good game, I don't see it being one sided tonight.

You can judge the quality of a hidden-ball trick by the number of seconds of dead air it produces from the broadcast booth while everyone is trying to figure out what just happened. In this case: 16 seconds.

The game is on FSAZ. FSAZ needs to stop giving the Suns priority over the Dbacks for telecasts. I am sick of having to watch the games on FSAZ+ which is not part of the basic package. I don't like fighting for the tv in the living room. It's a battle with females that I rarely win unscathed.

That was a pretty weak hidden ball trick. The base runner & coach just weren't paying attention.

I remember back in the 2005 season when Dback Luis Terrero fell for it while at 3B. I can't remember any other Dback falling for it.
