Has anyone heard anything else about that mound visit that Gibby had with Kennedy during the game today? Gibby seemed pissed, I'm wondering what the relationship is like between them right now.

Gibby goes to the mound in the first inning looking pissed. Kennedy looks at Gibby like a scared little bitch as he is being scolded. Gibby goes back to the dugout (still looking pissed)

Has anyone heard anything else about that mound visit that Gibby had with Kennedy during the game today? Gibby seemed pissed, I'm wondering what the relationship is like between them right now.

Gibby's post game interview he seemed cool with Ian. He said that the interviewers needed to ask Ian his thoughts but Gibby basically said that Ian did not come out with "fire" and he brushed it off. I think they are good now.

I really really really hope we trade Ian. He doesn't have much value right now but because of his 2011 season you know some team might take a risk on him in hopes of him just needing a change of scenery.

I won't speak for everyone, but personally I like this site a lot more than those live chats for when there is no game on. I don't miss any of the good baseball talk here if you aren't on when its taking place.

PHOENIX -- The Spanish play-by-play announcer for the Arizona Diamondbacks is in custody for allegedly threatening his wife with a knife.
Court paperwork released Wednesday show 53-year-old Miguel Perez Quintana is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and criminal damage.
Quintana is in his 16th year as a Diamondbacks' broadcaster. The team says he has been suspended "until this matter is resolved in court."
Phoenix police say they were called to Quintana's home Monday night and found his wife with blood on her legs and cuts on her left hand.
A probable cause statement says Karoly Quintana told police she and her husband were arguing about him going through her cellphone when he allegedly grabbed a knife from the kitchen and threatened to kill her.
She called 911.


Well, I guess I understand this a little. Watching Ian Kennedy pitch would drive a man to do many bad. bad things........
