Arizona at Tampa Bay

Should be a close game, but Arizona "should" win.

Zona's defense should "sell-out" against the run to stop Doug Martin and make Josh Freeman beat them; especially since his best WR Vincent Jackson won't be available.

Fortunately, according to my friends and family in Tampa, the Bucs have had virtually ZERO pass rush thus far this season. If Palmer has sufficient time, he should be more efficient than Josh Freeman.

Tampa won't want to start the season off 0-4, they're going to give us all we can handle and we're dealing with tons of injuries so it won't be easy at all. I hope we can pull this one out... heading back home .500 with D-Wash returning would be nice.

We get to face Mike Glennon, big arm, but probably will make a ton of mistakes. Too bad our entire LB corps got hurt...

We really need Kevin Minter to get healthy... we lost 3 LB's for the season last week.

A win would be nice, but it's going to be a struggle in Tampa.

We need to stop calling Patrick Peterson one of the best punt return guys in the game. His rookie year is long since past. Last year he was terrible and this year he is also one of the lesser guys at it in the NFL. We've been betting on him breaking one big for about 20 games now...I suppose it's bound to happen someday. The NFL is on to him (in this aspect of the game) and he hasn't adjusted.

If we can't beat Mike Glennon, the season is officially over. This is another "must-win" game IMO. They won the last one in Detroit...time to do it again.

The bad news is the Cards have won 2 games in their past 14 and are 1-2. The good news is the NFC is getting owned by the AFC and currently 1-2 is the record of the second wildcard team! Still plenty of time.

@Cakes- Yeah, the LB situation is horrible right now. Minter's return will be huge... we need him.

@Johnson- PP just hasn't had many opportunities since his rookie year though... teams know what he's capable of so they just don't give him a chance to return it. I do concur that it's a must-win though, if we lose this one then with our schedule ahead of us I'd say it's extremely doubtful that we make the playoffs.

There should be no excuse for not stopping TB offense. Glennon is far from NFL ready, just how many reps did he get in preseason? What ever it was, its not enough. My vCash is on the Cards, yours should be also.

If Cards can just get the W in Tampa and move to 2-2, they'll be in good shape. Daryl Washington will be back and Zona will own one of the better starting LB units in the NFL with Washington, Dansby, Abraham and Brinkley.

2-2 heading back to AZ with Washington returning wouldn't be bad at all. Our next game is winnable as well at home against the Panthers.
