I know allot of teams use it now but i,ve alwaysliked that the devils come on the ice to ac/dc's hells bells. It just kind of fits.other then that metal works for me.
Rage Against the Machine would work in just about any situation, probably a little to aggressive for a family friendly atmosphere. All I know is I hate what the Devils play anytime there is a fight. All the cliches (Let the Bodies Hit the Floor, Kung Fu Fighting, Mortal Kombat Theme, that stupid Pink song, all awful).
The sound guy at the Joe is pretty good, he doesn't always play what I like but it's usually very fitting. I'm not a huge metal guy (I love Pantera, White Zombie, and a few others) but that kind of stuff is perfect for hockey. I'm not even a huge AC/DC or Van Halen fan, but that stuff also seems tailor made for a hockey arena. I really don't like the techno, rap, or pop music you hear at games... I don't have a problem with that music personally, but it just doesn't belong at a hockey game IMO.
Sublime is one of my favorite groups of all time, but they need to keep it as far away from a hockey rink as they can. It just doesn't belong.
If I was an NHL player and I could choose my goal song, it would be this, hands down. One of the greatest songs ever recorded, and PERFECT for an NHL arena. (Let's see if this works...)
