Me too... Though I have to say, I watched it about a month or two ago and I couldn't stop laughing. It was so far over the top, it borders on a comedy. The first two Rockys are basically dramas.... Boring at times but they mostly have a story. The third started getting a bit out of hand, but they did have the 'lost confidence' angle and aging superstar vibe. Rocky 4 was essentially 6 or 7 music videos and a roid-filled Stallone running up a mountain. Bonus points -- It was a ridiculous commentary on current politics. What's not to love?

The first 2 our absolute gold. You're right about 3 and 4, but I'm too big of a fanboy to not get emotional about them anyways. They're timeless. I have the Blu-Ray set and I try and watch them every few months.

Don't get me wrong.... I'm a fanboy as well. I've probably watched the Rocky series twice as much as any other 'classic' series. I even dragged my wife out to see Rocky Balboa (the last of the series) in the theatre, swearing it would be awesome. LOL!
