it's actually kind of funny, because we're still around 12 points out, but if they can close to 8 or less, it'll be awesome to see what happens with this team. I think that they'll go into hyper drive mode at that point, because they'll be right on the heels of those teams.

I disagree because we looked tired the last few games. I'm pretty sure Lemaire said they were getting today (saturday) and Sunday off to rest. Smart move. This way they can still get 2 practices in before the Canes.

not for that reason with the team playing devils hockey again i hate having to wait that long till the next game.sorry i should have been more descriptive.the did look like they needed rest definately during the sharks game.not so much worried about the team being affected by a layoff the lemaire saying they were out of shape comment makes allot of sense and i believe they are in game shape now
