9-5 Stanford finished ranked in 2017.

8-5 Auburn finished ranked in 2016 and 2014.

They survived the Rose Bowl....they had less passing yards and rushing yards...almost 100 less total yards and they had!

LOL someone didn't watch the game. OSU handled Washington. They took their foot off the gas, which I don't like but it was obviously true. It was bend-but-don't-break defense in the 2nd half, which is why our entire defensive staff is gone.

Go look at the stats and you will see they out performed y'all in yards.

LOL no. We moved the ball at will on them for almost the entire first half then got complacent in the 2nd half because we wanted to coast to a win. Again, I don't like it, but it's still what happened. If you actually watched it, you'd know that.

So 10-3 LSU has two less wins and one more loss than 12-2 Oklahoma and performed much worse against their common opponent (0-29 against Bama on LSU's own home field compared to 34-45 on a neutral field), but deserves to get ranked ahead of them?

Just bc Fromm played damn good and secured the starting job does not mean Fields can't be great. Bad logic. I could name a ton of, even recent, transfers that proved your theory wrong. Fromm led his team to the NCG last year and a highly recruited freshman comes in, he would have started next year most definitely but he didn't want to wait.
