what is the reason for the experts' bias?

Lets start with money and regional bias.

The level of competition has a lot to do with it, otherwise SOS wouldn't be discussed so much. Fact is A&M has one of the weakest schedules in the SEC and has struggled to win. Hell, Texas blew out Ole Miss so it couldn't be that hard to beat them. (Had to get in a shot at Texas)

hasnt been ranked all season.. texas who is/has been ranked, beating the snot out of them was supposed to do what for them.. they werent ranked at all.. and havent been all season... 2 of those losses are to #14 texas and #1 Bama.. the third coming to a new SEC team that isnt ranked either..

but we will never know for sure if this is true or not.. just because you think this is how it would be doesnt mean its so.. we were supposed to lose to LSU.. .. but so far, it hasnt worked out that way.. the only way to prove who is the better team if for a head to head.. and we all know thats not how it works.. we can have this arguement all day it will still not get any of us anywhere..

How is that possible when a corrupt system puts two SEC teams in the title game (one of which not being conference champion) and leaves another one loss conference championship team out in the cold?

its not difficult to beat ole piss.. but they will have played as of right now a #14, #1 #13, #6 and #15 who at this time is undefeated and ranked lower then some 1 loss teams

Wrong. Its ridiculous to assume that fans don't have any idea what they're talking about. Also wrong. Speaking up is exactly how you effect change. I believe that's partly why you're seeing a playoff system come to fruition. Sorry kt but this is yet another lazy argument driven by the fact that the system currently benefits you. In certain you wouldn't approach this with the same non- chalance if it was your team getting screwed.

Their SOS is awful... as is Oregon's. Both of those teams should be out of the top 5 until they prove they can beat someone.

The college football viewing markets ARE largest in the SE, yes.

I never said that fans don't have any idea what they're talking about.. I said WE are not the EXPERTS who are MAKING the decisions.. Im all about the play off decision.. Its a good idea.. I have been a fan for a long time and watched the SEC teams get screwed way longer then the current run.. we can just go back to the 60's and start there and come forward until the last 10 years or so... when they finally got some of the recognition they deserved.. the problem is.. no one else has stepped up to the plate to DEFEAT any of the SEC teams theyve played.. that is NOT the sec's fault it's every team and their conference who has tried and failed.

Considering coaches vote too, I'd say fans are more of the experts. Coaches aren't watching the games.

Meh. The SEC is the best conference. There's always been an east coast bias anyways. Hell the Buckeyes moved up a spot after giving up 49 points to Indiana L) only beating them by 3. I think the should have dropped out of the top 10 for that shit performance.
