what is the reason for the experts' bias?
Lets start with money and regional bias.
what is the reason for the experts' bias?
The level of competition has a lot to do with it, otherwise SOS wouldn't be discussed so much. Fact is A&M has one of the weakest schedules in the SEC and has struggled to win. Hell, Texas blew out Ole Miss so it couldn't be that hard to beat them.(Had to get in a shot at Texas)
hasnt been ranked all season.. texas who is/has been ranked, beating the snot out of them was supposed to do what for them.. they werent ranked at all.. and havent been all season... 2 of those losses are to #14 texas and #1 Bama.. the third coming to a new SEC team that isnt ranked either..
Look KT, right now if A&M was in the Big 12 they'd be behind Iowa State in the rankings. And have no conference wins at all unless they played Kansas or Baylor.

Until someone outside the SEC wins a BCS Championship, I suggest we move on from this "bias" bullshit.
Sorry, but I don't see your point.
but we will never know for sure if this is true or not.. just because you think this is how it would be doesnt mean its so.. we were supposed to lose to LSU.. .. but so far, it hasnt worked out that way.. the only way to prove who is the better team if for a head to head.. and we all know thats not how it works.. we can have this arguement all day it will still not get any of us anywhere..
Sorry kt but you haven't raised one valid point yet.
my point is this.. none of US are experts. You have two choices.. get over it or not.. like it or not.. we are not going to change the way things are.
Lets start with money and regional bias.
are you saying that there is a greater representation of the Southeast in the media than other regions?
Wrong. Its ridiculous to assume that fans don't have any idea what they're talking about. Also wrong. Speaking up is exactly how you effect change. I believe that's partly why you're seeing a playoff system come to fruition. Sorry kt but this is yet another lazy argument driven by the fact that the system currently benefits you. In certain you wouldn't approach this with the same non- chalance if it was your team getting screwed.
