Foles was horrible last week. Defense was ok...........this week defense is worse

looking like another 9-7, 10-6 type team at the moment

It's Preseason, nuff said!
I agree, I actually don't care about the first 2 quarters. It is the later quarters watching the youngin's fight for a job. I still don't know why they have preseason. They should go with the idea they had a couple of years ago with ditching preseason and adding 2 more games.

I'm more concerned with the WR core than Foles. Not really impressed with the defense either. They really didn't do much to improve either side of the ball. Arguably could have taken a step back on offense. Depends on how they deploy Sproles and McCoy together.

WR's are just fine - they're still scoring 30+ with the group they have - the offense is set up to score points with whoever's at WR, kind of like the Patriots

Don't really see it. We need Maclin to have a career year. He can't even stay healthy through training camp. Never been a supporter of Cooper and think he got overpaid. Can't count on a rookie. A ton of the offensive production will have to come from the RB/TE position for this team to be productive. With the new NFL rules we could be scoring 30+ and giving up 40+ with this defense not being able to cover anyone.

I agree with this, to some extent, I think the WR's are fine if you include the fact that Sproles, Ertz, and Celek are going to be used heavily in the passing game and that should tide us over until Mathews starts to make an impact. Not to mention we've got one of the best RB's, who btw, is also an excellent pass catcher out of the backfield.

I am worried about the defense and the offensive line, until Johnson gets back.

But still, worried is a little strong of a word for the preseason. Perhaps a cautious is a better word.

In Chip we Trust!

I'm not concerned at all, as a fan of the Cleveland Clowns their season is once again over before it starts.

Now back to regular programming.

The one thing I am concerned about are the injuries on the O-line.

Foles showed me something today, you are not always going to come out with your best stuff, but he did enough to win the game, put up 322 pass yards and two Td's. It was a tough game for him but I am not concerned about him yet. I am concerned the receivers couldn't get open in the first half, the offense line was offensive and Cary Williams let an undrafted rookie wide out punk him. However they all rebounded and played better in the second half. Molk and Gardner coming in seemed to make the offensive line better.

Yay. You were one of millions of Eagles fans who knew that they'd be nowhere near the level of the Seahawks and Niners.

Nailed it buddy.
