i actually liked their team and was cheering for them last yr until Rizzo turned arrogant and thought he was smarter than everyone else.

I haven't paid them much attention. I'm learning I don't particularly care for Bryce Harper though.

I've gone through phases where sometimes I think he's a douche then sometimes I think he's alright. At this point in time, I just really don't care either way.

Just for the fact that they decided to lessen there chances last year, thinking they were a lock for the playoffs again makes me sorta enjoy it, but at the end of the day I don't care either way

This is why I was against them shutting down Strasburg last year and thought it was piss poor planning to not plan for his rest from the beginning of the year so they could have had him in the playoffs. It is never guaranteed that you make the playoffs either year and it is kind of sad to see them have a bad year this year.

I'm disappointed in it, really. I wanted the Pirates to do battle with the Nationals for years to come. Obviously, the Nationals were farther along in their team development than the Pirates last year, and I expected them to be this year, too, but they were two young teams rising from unimpressive ashes (or in the Pirates' case, closer to abysmal), with talented young pitchers and hitters rising through their respective systems (Cole, Strasburg, McCutchen, Harper, Alvarez), and a number of interesting other prospects getting close to or entering the Majors (Rendon, Locke) who projected to be contributors in at least some capacity.

But in some ways, they kind of brought this upon themselves by mismanaging Strasburg last year, so I'm also a little glad a team got punished for that kind of mismanagement, which will hopefully scare others teams away from it.

But I do fully expect them to be back in full next year with a healthier Zimmerman and a more mature Harper and Rendon.

Don't really care about the Nats as a team, but I was very annoyed with the Nats fans, going all 'DC sports fan' about the Nats, touting the 'best team on paper.'

No worries though, they've all moved back on to RG3's nutsack and are counting down the days until they go 12-4 and win the NFC.

I think heading into the season they were the best team on paper. I picked them for NL East. Now they are under .500.

He's accomplished shit but is more arrogant than Josh Hamilton, How can that be?

I don't understand the hate for Harper he's a young kid who plays hard. He's made a few mistakes but he's also had to deal with being picked on for doing so. Harpers a good player and he plays the game the right way. Hard to knock that.

Yeah, the whole "Harper's the biggest douchebag ever!!1" angle seems a little far-fetched.

Supposedly it has something to do with his hair...
