I think you're remembering him being better than he was. He wasn't anything special his first two years, but had a great 3rd year (most notably scoring in the 40s against Seton Hall). But then last year before his injury, he regressed back to what he was his first two years, just a streak shooter that leaves you a little frustrated because you know he can do more. This year, it appears he's continuing that trend.

Robert Brown had a poor game tonight, but if Brown plays as well as he has for the season and Hudson continues to give inconsistent efforts, I'm all for Brown taking Hudson's minutes.

So I was looking at our next opponent Norfolk State. They lost to Marquette twice. One of the losses was only by 2, but lost to DII Elizabeth City by having 34 turnovers. WTF

Apparently it was some disciplinary issue and Greenberg didn't let him start. He said something along the lines of not having the intensity in practice that he wanted, I believe.

As he should, imo. It also looks like Garland is out of the rotation completely. Since Rankin has been healthy, he's played like 1 minute. I'm all for cutting his minutes, but I still think he has value. I wouldn't just cut him out.

personally, i do not care if Garland stays or goes. Something about him rubs me the wrong way....not to mention when he gets on the court, i mean i know he has some skill, but its like he shits his pants once he gets on the floor, takes terrible shots, cant find open men, and turns the ball over constantly

BTW i had the chance to meet Atkins a few times, Super nice kid. I hated to see him go.

I hated to see him go as well and I lay the blame in that case squarely on Greenberg. Atkins was a fairly high recruit and had more skill than he showed (imo), but Greenberg absolutely buried him on the bench. Even last year when we were so short handed because of injuries, Atkins minutes still weren't what they should have been.

Jarrell Eddie just went off today. Also, Raines looks like our best 5 on both ends of the court. His jump hook probably isn't as good as Davilla's but he's more forceful inside. I think we need more that going forward.
